How the Extension Works

QBO Cleaner operates entirely within your browser and only on QuickBooks Online pages (qbo.intuit.com). The extension:

• Reads page content to identify where to add enhancement buttons
• Modifies the page display to add "Print Receipt" and "Save & Print Check" buttons
• Replaces "Schedule Payment" links with "Make Payment" links on vendor pages
• Uses browser session storage temporarily to enable auto-print functionality

All processing happens locally in your browser. No data is sent to external servers.

Permissions

QBO Cleaner requests the following browser permissions:

• activeTab: Allows the extension to interact with the current tab when you're on QuickBooks Online pages.
• storage: Used for storing extension preferences locally in your browser.

Third-Party Services

QBO Cleaner does not integrate with or send data to any third-party services, analytics platforms, or advertising networks.

Data Security

Since we do not collect any data, there is no data to secure or protect. Your QuickBooks Online credentials and financial information remain solely between you and Intuit.
