The buttons aren't appearing on QuickBooks Online. What should I do?

First, make sure you're on a bill payment page (URL contains "/app/billpayment") or a vendor detail page. Try refreshing the page. If the issue persists, go to chrome://extensions, find QBO Cleaner, and click the reload button.

The extension stopped working after a QuickBooks update. What happened?

QuickBooks Online occasionally updates their interface, which may temporarily break the extension. We monitor for these changes and release updates as quickly as possible. Make sure your extension is set to auto-update in Chrome.

Is my financial data safe?

Yes. QBO Cleaner does not collect, store, or transmit any of your data. Everything happens locally in your browser. Your QuickBooks credentials and financial information are never accessed by us. See our Privacy Policy for details.

How do I uninstall the extension?

Go to chrome://extensions in your browser, find QBO Cleaner, and click "Remove". The extension will be completely uninstalled with no residual data.

Does this work with QuickBooks Desktop?

No, QBO Cleaner only works with QuickBooks Online (qbo.intuit.com). It does not support QuickBooks Desktop or other Intuit products.

Troubleshooting

Extension Not Working? Try These Steps:

  1. Refresh the page - Sometimes a simple refresh fixes temporary issues.
  2. Reload the extension - Go to chrome://extensions, find QBO Cleaner, and click the reload icon.
  3. Check the URL - Make sure you're on qbo.intuit.com (not quickbooks.intuit.com or another domain).
  4. Disable conflicting extensions - Other extensions that modify QuickBooks might interfere. Try disabling them temporarily.
  5. Clear browser cache - Sometimes cached data can cause issues. Try clearing your cache and cookies for qbo.intuit.com.
  6. Reinstall the extension - As a last resort, remove and reinstall QBO Cleaner from the Chrome Web Store.
