A little less friction.
Bring multiple saved bill payments together in one vendor remittance. Choose an inclusive payment-date range and review each payment, its bills, and applied credits before printing or saving a PDF.
Vendor remittance2 payments
| Date | Reference | Payment |
|---|---|---|
| Oct 02 | BP-1041 · Bank | $1,000.00 |
| Oct 09 | BP-1055 · Card | $850.00 |
Total remitted$1,850.00
$2,000 in bills less $150 in credits.
How to use it
- Open the vendor’s detail page in QuickBooks Online. Choose Vendor Remittance above the transaction list.
- Choose the first and last payment dates. These dates refer to when payments were made, even when the bills are older.
- Choose Generate remittance. Keep the QBO tab open while the extension reads the saved payments and their allocations.
- Review the payment methods, references, bills, credits, and total. Choose Print / Save as PDF.
What that looks like
Illustrative example
Two saved payments of $400 and $600 produce a $1,000 remittance. If the second payment applies a $650 bill and a $50 credit, the report shows that breakdown instead of treating $650 as cash paid.
Good to know before you start
What you need
- A vendor with saved bank/check or credit-card bill payments.
- Access to view each payment and its applied bills and credits.
Scope & limitations
- Standalone expenses and checks outside saved bill payments are excluded.
- Reversed, ambiguous, or unverifiable payments stop generation; an incomplete report is not presented as complete.
- Your original vendor filters and page are restored after collection. Allow the requested report window if your browser blocks it.
