A little less friction.
Replace supported Schedule payment and Pay balance actions with Make Payment. The shortcut routes into QBO’s native payment workflow; you still review the vendor, account, date, and amount in QuickBooks.
How to use it
- Open QBO Cleaner settings and turn Make Payment Button on.
- Open the vendor list or a vendor’s detail page.
- Choose Make Payment on the relevant vendor. Keyboard activation works on supported actions.
- Review the native QBO form and complete or cancel it using QBO’s controls.
What that looks like
Illustrative example
From a vendor detail page, Make Payment can open a native Check with that vendor selected. The shortcut reduces navigation; QBO still controls what is saved.
Good to know before you start
What you need
- Make Payment Button enabled.
- A supported vendor page and permission to use the native payment form.
Scope & limitations
- The shortcut does not verify bank details or approve a transaction for you.
- Different vendor views can open different native QBO entry flows. Confirm the form and vendor before saving.
- Turning the setting off restores the native labels and behavior.
