Everyday workflow

Recognize your QBO tabs

Give each open tab a useful name.

A little less friction.

Workflow Polish labels supported QBO browser tabs by their current page, helping you distinguish a vendor list, report, recurring templates, and transaction entry.

How to use it

  1. Turn Workflow Polish on.
  2. Navigate between supported QBO lists, reports, and forms.
  3. Use the browser’s tab bar to switch by the page title.
  4. Turn Workflow Polish off if you prefer the native titles.

What that looks like

Illustrative example

With Receipts, Bills, and a report open, the tab labels help you return to the right screen.

Good to know before you start

What you need

  • Workflow Polish enabled.

Scope & limitations

  • Meaningful native titles are retained where appropriate.
  • New QBO routes may fall back to their existing title.
  • This changes browser labels rather than the names of saved transactions.

Something look different? Visit help & support. QuickBooks changes its interface, and available controls depend on your company and permissions.
