Custom QBO bookmarks

Keep the pages you return to within reach.

A little less friction.

Add shortcuts beneath Create in QBO’s sidebar. Choose offered pages with a bookmark star, or add a named QBO page path such as /app/vendors.

How to use it

  1. Open extension settings and find My Apps Menu.
  2. Use a bookmark star on an offered page, or enter a name and QBO path under Custom Bookmark.
  3. Choose Add for a custom entry. Reopen QBO to inspect the shortcut in the sidebar.
  4. Use the named remove control in settings when you no longer need a bookmark.

What that looks like

Illustrative example

Add Vendors with the path /app/vendors, then reach the vendor list from the sidebar instead of reopening the app menu.

Good to know before you start

What you need

  • A valid QBO path beginning with /app/.

Scope & limitations

  • Bookmarks are navigation shortcuts, not saved report filters or a grant of QBO permissions.
  • External websites and invalid paths are rejected.
  • The extension’s custom group is separate from QBO’s own bookmark management.

Something look different? Visit help & support. QuickBooks changes its interface, and available controls depend on your company and permissions.
